After Professor Daniel Mateo Fajardo died in 1959, the family decided to close Las Piñas Band‘s operations. For almost four decades, the history and music of Daniel were buried in the family’s storeroom. Until the day of the awakening finally came. With the leadership of Professor Fidelito “Feddie” Timbang and the help of the founding members/musicians, and the permission and management of Mr. Raymundo B. Fajardo, grandson of Prof. Daniel Fajardo Banda de Las Piñas was revived under the name LPB91 or Las Piñas Banda 91′ on June 12, 1991. For 29 years, the band was under Prof. Feddie Timbang until his passing on October 8, 2020. , Mr. John Fillip Timbang, a seasoned musician and a music graduate of the University of the Philippines, Diliman succeeded his father, Prof. Feddie Timbang. Other seasoned musicians and veteran members of Las Piñas Band namely, Mr. Clinton Mateo and Mr. Melvin Timbang, took on the roles of assistant conductors. 

Under the baton of maestro and band director Prof. Fillip Timbang and the support of assistant conductors Prof. Clinton Mateo and Prof. Melvin Cabrera, Las Piñas Band continues to share its passion for music by offering free yet quality music education with aspiring musicians who join the band in its journey towards excellence.
